Frontier Camp is a summer retreat in the piney woods of east Texas for children and teens. They hired me to create maps of their two campuses. Embarking on a task that had never been accomplished before, I used a lot of Google maps, photographs, and my own memories of having been a camper and counselor to get the layout correct. The goal was to create something "functional, yet whimsical." The following year, they hired me to design their Christmas card.
